starting over without wordpress
what i am doing here. maybe. or perhaps not.
what does a future without wordpress look like? to run a website without a dashboard, without the complicated overlap of wordpress and brainstorm force products that make it impossible for someone less technical to maintain their own site? to not pay annually for astra licenses? to stop confusing myself over where astra ends and spectra begins, and no longer question why the two simultaneously overlap and conflict.
and to think i was once content with notepad and ws_ftp, scoffing over the gall of others to rely on horribly coded html generated by “wysiwyg” editors.
it is an odd era to be in the world of websites.
